Wedding and Commitment Ceremonies
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. And your wedding ceremony should be a true reflection of your world view, your taste and style and of course your love. I will help you express and share the joy of this day with a personalized ceremony, for you and your family and guests.
We can be as unique, creative, formal, or informal, as you wish.
I will listen to you and make lots of suggestions - and in the end, we will have the perfect ceremony. Whether secular, spiritual, multi-cultural, inter-faith or more traditional, I am comfortable, sensitive
and aware of the diverse needs of today's families. It will be special and memorable.
Once I have your input, I create the ceremony, composing the first draft - which I'll send to you for your approval, corrections, or changes. You have unlimited consultation and complete final approval of the ceremony. There are no unpleasant surprises this way (we all have heard an unfortunate story about inappropriate things being said at a wedding). Because of this, you will be more relaxed and 'in the moment,' as you exchange your vows.
At Many Locations:
I officiate often at Skytop Lodge, Shawnee Inn, Mountain Springs Lake, Stroudsmoor Country Inn, The Meadowbrook Inn, Cherry Valley Vineyard, Bank Street Annex, Pocono Manor, as well as private homes, B&B's and other interesting locations in the Poconos and beyond.
At My Home:
I also offer an opportunity for couples to be married at my home, indoors, or in our beautiful gardens and newly created ceremony site. This may be for just the two of you, or include guests.
